My husband Ken and I started Scrapbook Treasures in 2002 shortly after I had attended a party and fell in love with the hobby. I really liked the idea of telling the story behind our photos by adding matting and coordinating embellishments, really turning them into treasured keepsakes. Ken was and is supportive and worked side by side with me to grow our business. We were vendors at many scrapbook show and expos across the country and knew that the wandering life was for us. When the “big box” stores made it impossible to compete we closed our store and followed Ken’s dream,
The next natural step was to become over-the-road truckers. We have again been side by side for the last 10 years blessed to visit 49 states and 9 provinces. And not just from the highway. National parks are a favorite destination but probably our favorite memory will always be driving the Alaska highway!
Life has seasons and we are in a new one. While God, family, and friends have always been important to us it is time to focus on them with new fervor. We have 2 grandchildren and it is especially important to us to watch them grow. I have so missed being creative and hanging out with women sharing ideas , our lives and laughs. We will still travel and do scrapbook shows.
Through classes and events in the Rochester, NY area, shows throughout the country, and on-line store it is our hope to share friendship, knowledge, and creativity. It is our company mission to provide quality products as many as possible made in the USA and excellent customer service in order to share the love of paper crafting of all kinds.
